BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford volleyball team continued spring play Saturday, April 5, as it took on its Ohio Valley Conference rival Jacksonville State and in-state Southeastern Conference foe Alabama.

The Bulldogs defeated Jacksonville State twice by a score of 2-0 to improve their spring record against the Gamecocks to 4-0. Samford then took on Alabama and fell, 0-2, in a couple of very close matches against the Tide. Samford's spring record against Alabama is now 0-4.

The Bulldogs will take on Auburn, Thursday, April 17, in the Pete Hanna Center. Match play will begin around 5 p.m.
