BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford volleyball team dropped a three-game match 15-2, 15-6, 15-3 at UAB Tuesday evening.

The Bulldogs had their worst hitting night of the season as no one finished with a positive hitting percentage. Whitney Miller was the team's leading hitter with five kills.

The loss drops Samford to 8-8 on the season while UAB improves to 5-9. The Bulldogs will re-group and travel to Mississippi State on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match.
