2007 ALL-OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM An underestimated middle because of her size but will turn a lot of heads in 2009...will be the catalyst to the entire Bulldog offense next season and should have her best year ever.
Junior (2008): Started all 33 matches for the Bulldogs in 2008...led Samford in blocks throughout the year and finished with 106 (112 blocks solo and 94 block assists)...ranked 15th in the nation by the NCAA in hitting on Sept. 9, 40th on Oct. 7 and 41st throughout the month of November...ranks fourth on the single-season block assists list with 106 for 2008...now ranks third on the all-time hitting percentage list with a .300 average and third on the all-time blocks list with 295 for her career...matched a career-high nine block assists versus South Florida on Sept. 13 in the Crimson Tide Invitational...posted a career-high five aces at Georgia Southern on Sept. 28...hit a career-high of .769 (10-0-13) at Davidson (Sept. 27) to begin the conference season...notched a season-high 14 kills versus Elon in Samford's 20th win of the season on Oct. 25...named to the All-Tournament team at the War Eagle Invitational and the UMKC Kangaroo Klassic...led the team at the War Eagle Invitational in hitting (.375) while leading in hitting .533 and grabbing 16 blocks in four games at the UMKC Kangaroo Klassic. Sophomore (2007): One of two Bulldogs to play in all 109 games of all 29 matches during the 2007 campaign...broke her career record in blocks three times during the season, last against Murray State (Oct. 20) with 10.0 (1-9) blocks...notched several other career highs with 19 kills twice, last at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 12), 42 attempts twice, last at Austin Peay (Oct. 16) and three block solos at Tennessee-Martin (Sept. 15)...committed only one attack error six times during the season...hit a season-high .474 against Jacksonville State (Oct. 23)...ranks second on the team in hitting (.326) and kills (2.97 kpg) and leads the Bulldogs in blocks (1.36 bpg)...broke a school record for block assists in a season with 129, which puts her at the top of the single-season list for that category...ranks fourth on the single-season hitting percentage list for her .326 average for the 2007 season...sits at seventh place on the all-time block assists list with 210...earned her second varsity letter. Freshman (2006): Saw action in all of Samford's matches this season and played in 101 games . . . posted a career high .600 hitting percentage against Furman (Sept. 1) in the UCF Tournament . . . recorded back-to-back matches of a career high 32 attempts at South Alabama (Sept. 9) and Birmingham-Southern (Sept. 12) . . . tallied a career high in kills (19) against UNC-Asheville (Sept. 16) in the Samford Barber's Classic . . . named to the all-tournament teams in the UCF Tournament and the USA Jaguar Classic . . . ranked fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference for the 2006 season in blocks with 62.0 (13-49) . . . also led the Bulldogs in blocks with 95.0 (14-81) and ranked second in kills (205) and points (263.5) . . . earned her first varsity letter. Club: Competed for the Mid-American Volleyball (MAVS) club team . . . received Junior Olympic All-America honors in 2004 . . . named both First-Team All-Easter Kansas League and First-Team All-Sun in 2004 and 2005 . . . earned All-Star team honors and was a 2005 Evelyn Gates Award nominee.
