Women's Tennis Announces Two Signees

July 6, 2007

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford women's tennis program announced the signing of Taylor Morgan and Lindsay Reidenbach, both from The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla., Friday morning.

"We are very excited to have Taylor and Lindsay become our newest Bulldogs," head coach Terri Sisk said. "Their tennis backgrounds are quite impressive and they will make an immediate impact in our lineup this coming year."

Morgan and Reidenbach helped lead the team at Bolles to three state championships and one runner-up finish.

Morgan was named a Lifetime Letterwinner at Bolles, and won the Van Etten Bent Award for the school's outstanding female tennis player in 2006 and 2007. She was also named the North Florida Girls Tennis Player of the Year in 2007. She was a five-time singles state champion and a three-time doubles state champion.

Reidenbach won two singles state titles while at Bolles. She won the Coaches Award as a senior and the Tennis Sportsmanship Award as both a freshman and junior. Reidenbach was ranked in the top 35 in her section, and she is also a member of the National Honor Society.
