COOKEVILLE, Tenn. ---- The Samford women's tennis team finished the Ohio Valley Conference regular season undefeated while keeping its spot at the top of the league standings Sunday with a 5-2 win over Tennessee Tech. The Bulldogs end the regular season with a 17-5 overall record and 10-0 in OVC play.

Samford took two of three in doubles play while Taylor Morgan, Anna Jackson, Katie Weaver, and Lindsey Mallory all earned victories in singles to grab the team win.

Samford will compete next in the OVC Tennis Championships this weekend, April 18-20, in Nashville, Tenn. The Bulldogs will receive a bye to the semi-finals because of their high standing in the conference rankings. Matches will be played at Tennessee State and Belmont with the championship match being held at Tennessee State.
