Women's Tennis Picks Up First Win At BSC

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford women's tennis team used victories at the top three singles spots and then held on to defeat Birmingham-Southern 4-3 on Tuesday. Stanka Ilkova, Katherine Jayroe, Emily Nunnally, and Kristen Upp each took singles victories to give Samford its needed four points to take the match. The Bulldogs are now 1-3 on the young season and will face Jacksonville State on Wednesday.
