2007-08 (Freshman): Finished the season with a 14-11 singles record as a freshman, including a 9-8 mark in dual matches . . . lost only one match of seven singles outings against Ohio Valley Conference opponents . . . played most of her matches at the No. 5 singles position (6-2) and earned her first NCAA Tournament action against Florida State at the No. 5 court in the first round of the prestigious 64-team event . . . registered a seven-match winning streak in singles play and knocked off a pair of nationally-ranked opponents in No. 28 Sofia Haggstrom from Armstrong Atlantic and No. 31-ranked Karine Redoul from Valdosta State . . . competed in doubles play along with fellow freshman Andrie Meiring and went 18-7 at the No. 3 position, including a near-perfect 11-1 mark in OVC play . . . the pair also picked up a dual-match victory at the No. 2 doubles position . . . during 2008 fall tournament play, she earned the singles championship title of the Flight 5 Singles Draw at the Holiday Inn Astrodome Rice Classic . . . she finished the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record and defeated North Texas' Narine Kasarova, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (3), in the championship match . . . earned her first varsity letter.
