Here is your chance to play like the Bulldogs. The Samford softball team will be conducting two preseason clinics this weekend. February 1-2, Michael Bastian, former head coach of the WPSL's Akron Racers, will be in town to for a pitcher's clinic on Feb. 1, and a coaches clinic on Feb. 2. Both clinics will be held at the Samford Softball Field on the Samford University campus.

Pitchers Clinic, February 1, 2003 Featuring Michael Bastian 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Ages 7-18 Fundamentals of Pitching

2 p.m.-5 p.m.
Ages 12-18 Advanced Pitching

What to bring: Catcher, practice clothes, tennis shoes, glove, great attitude

Directions from I-65 South: Take exit 255 to Lakeshore Drive. Turn left onto Lakeshore drive and continue approximately two miles. Turn left at fourth traffic light into main gate. Turn left onto Montague Drive. Turn left onto Dawson Drive, pass Seibert Hall and tennis courts on your left. Softball field is on other side of tennis courts.
