Watch College softball at its best as teams from around the state compete in the 2002 Softball Jamboree at Pelham Park in Pelham, Ala. Games begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Admission to the tournament is $5 per day.

Prior to the Jamboree, the Samford Softball team will be conducting a softball clinic for girls ages 8-18. The clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Participants will receive a free t-shirt and a tournament pass for the remainder of the weekend. Preregistration for the clinic is $30. Walk-up registration is $35.

Clinic Schedule:
Registration: 7:45-8:25 a.m.
Warm up: 8:30-8:45 a.m.
Four 30 minute rotations: 8:45-11:00 a.m.
Hitting (Mechanics, drills), Infield (ground ball techniques), Outfield (fly ball techniques), Throwing Mechanics (Position Specific)
What to bring: Glove, bat, helmet, cleats, water bottle
