DELAND, Fla. - On the fifth day, it rained. The Samford softball team's Florida trip will be day longer due to heavy rain and lighting in Deland which caused the postponement of its double header at Stetson University on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs and Hatters will try again on Wednesday. The official start time has not been determined but a late afternoon start is expected.
