LOCATION: Samford University softball field
TIME: 1:00-4:00pm (both days)
BRING: glove, cleats, tennis shoes, bat, batting gloves, knee pads/pants, small water bottle or sports drink.

Instructors:

Leading off : LEAH BRAATZ
Leah comes from Tucson, Arizona where she played for the University of Arizona Wildcats coached by Mike Candrea. Leah is a four time 1st team All-American and a four time All-PAC 10 player. She was also honored as PAC 10 Newcomer her freshman year. Leah has had four College World Series appearances, three of which were championships. She was selected for the All-Tournament Team three out of the four trips to Oklahoma City. Leah's biggest accomplishment came her senior year, tying the Division I career homerun record with 86. Leah and teammate Laura Espinosa-Watson still hold the record together. Leah has attended four Olympic Festivals and played professionally for the WPSL (women's professional softball league).

On deck: Kim Braatz-Voisard
Kim is a former All-American at the University of New Mexico and a member of the Colorado Silver Bullets, the only women's professional baseball team to play against men. Kim became the first female to hit an out-of-the-park home run in the history of baseball. She also played professionally in Italy and has coached and conducted clinics across the country and around the world. Kim and her sister, Leah, are native southern Californian's.

In the hole: Beanie Ketcham
Beanie is a former baseball pitcher at Vestavia Hills H.S. and a resident of Birmingham. Beanie attended Oklahoma State University and helped the Cowgirls to four Big 8 Championships. She also played for the Colorado Silver Bullets and for the past 3 years has coached softball at Samford University.

Clean up: Mark Voisard
Mark is a former Colorado Rockies pitcher, drafted in the 13th round in 1992. Mark played five seasons before a career ending injury. Mark coached with the Colorado Silver Bullets along side Hall of Fame pitcher Phil Niekro. He also managed the Buffalo Nighthawks (a women's professional team) and is currently the Head Coach for the Samford University softball team. Mark is in his forth season with the Bulldogs.
