2008 Team Captain

The team is looking for a lot of leadership out of her this season . . . brings a mental toughness to every game . . . consistent performer who can put a lot of pressure on the opponent's defense.

2007 (Junior): Named a 2008 Samford Team Captain for her leadership and dedication during the season . . . started in 51 of the team's 54 games at center field and finished with a career-high .267 batting average . . . proved to be one of the fastest players on the team as she tallied 17 stolen bases . . . finished the season ranked fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference in stolen bases with 17 . . . was only caught stealing five times and finished the year 17-of-22 in stolen base attempts . . . recorded nine multiple-hit games and registered a five-game hitting streak against Alabama State, Saint Louis and OVC-foe Southeast Missouri . . . tallied 31 hits and 15 runs scored in 116 at-bats . . . concluded the season with a .981 fielding percentage, the third highest total on the team . . . turned in a .500 (13-of-26) on-base percentage as a leadoff hitter . . . earned her third varsity letter.

2006 (Sophomore): Saw action in 36 games and made 27 starts . . . played primarily in center field and either batted in the leadoff spot or the sixth position in the lineup . . . finished third on the team in both batting average (.243) and stolen bases (10) . . . was 10-of-14 in stolen base attempts and scored six runs . . . turned in a solid .385 batting average with runners on base . . . batted .346 as the lead-off hitter and was tied for the team's best percentage in flyout-groundout ratio (0.2) . . . finished with a team-high .778 success rate in advancing base runners . . . batted .267 against conference opponents, earning the second-highest average on the team . . . concluded the season with six multiple-hit games and compiled a three-game hitting streak in a weekend Ohio Valley Conference series against Austin Peay April 14-15 . . . earned her second varsity letter.

2005 (Freshman): Played in 35 games and made 14 starts, primarily in right field . . . finished third on the team in stolen bases (four) . . . compiled a .119 batting average, scoring six runs and tallying three runs batted in . . . placed second on the team with a .444 average in reaching base when leading off an inning . . . batted .500 with runners on third base and less than two outs . . . turned in a multiple-RBI performance against Birmingham-Southern March 6 . . . earned her first varsity letter.
