Very hard worker...will challenge for an outfield position...has the potential to hit for power...has really good speed...if she can get into a groove, she could break into the lineup offensively and do some great things.

2008 (Freshman): Played in 33 games for the Bulldogs in 2008...got her first collegiate start at Eastern Illinois on April 5 at right field...appeared in four other contests at right field while the rest of her service went to the pinch hitter and pinch runner positions...in 19 at bats, she posted three hits and scored six runs...earned her first varsity letter.

High School: Named first-team all-league in both 2006 and 2007 . . . was picked to play in the North-South All-Star Game and the Riverside vs. Orange County All-Star Game . . . earned Best Offensive Player honors at Garden Grove High School in 2007 . . . also lettered in volleyball and basketball at GGHS . . . earned all-league honors in volleyball and was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 2003, 2004 and 2006 . . . received Scholar Athlete honors all four years of high school (2004-07) . . . earned the 2007 Golden Fleece Award and was named to the Principal's Honor Roll.

Personal: Born Sept. 25, 1989 . . . daughter of Elizabeth and Jack Handley . . . older sister Jena is a sophomore softball player at Ohio Valley Conference-rival Eastern Kentucky . . . undeclared major.
