2008 (Freshman): Named to the OVC All-Freshman team...one of only three players to start all 54 of the Bulldogs' games and was a major contributor to the Samford hitting regime...as a true freshman, saw the most action at centerfield while also acting as the designated hitter for 11 meetings...stole 10 bases on 14 attempts and ranked second on the team in runs scored while tallying 40 hits on the season...hit .272 on the season and finished the season second on the team in homeruns with seven and runs batted in with 39...hit . 423 (11-for-26) versus left-handed pitchers and .417 as the leadoff batter...was 12-for-19 (.632) with runners on third and two outs...had a .528 success rate in advancing runners...collected 10 multi-RBI games during 2008 and was ranked seventh in the OVC in RBI...one of three players to total 72 bases on the season...finished the season with seven doubles and a pair of triples...earned her first varsity letter.
