Should be an all-conference player...Ketcham says she is one of the best third basemen she has ever coached...has the potential to be one of the top third basemen in the conference...does everything very well...sees the ball very well at the plate.

2008 (Junior): Played in 53 games in 2008 and started 50...played most of the season at third base and batted in the middle of the order...finished the season with the fourth best batting average (.278) and the best slugging percentage (.500)...batted in the third most runs for the Bulldogs (30) and knocked out the most homeruns (9) on the team...one of three Bulldogs to amass 72 total bases while drawing 15 walks...assisted 98 putouts...concluded the season ranked seventh in the conference in homeruns with nine...currently tied for ninth on Samford's all-time homeruns list with nine and second on the single-season list for the same category...earned her second varsity letter.

2007 (Sophomore): Received a medical redshirt.

2006 (Freshman): Started in 25 of the team's 58 games as a true freshman and proved to be one of the top power hitters in the lineup . . . played a predominant portion of the Bulldogs' games at third base and earned a spot in the middle of the batting order . . . finished the season with four doubles, four runs scored and a pair of runs batted in . . . showed some speed on the base paths and was a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts . . . and earned her first varsity letter.

High School: Compiled head-turning offensive statistics at Briarwood Christian where she batted .388 as a senior . . . named the 2005 Shelby County Player of the Year . . . was a three-time member of the All-Metro Birmingham Team, the All-Shelby County Team and the All-Over The Mountain Team (2003-05) . . . finished the 2005 season with a team-leading six home runs and 26 RBI . . . also led BCHS in runs scored (32), hits (38) and triples (5) . . . completed the season with a .735 slugging percentage and a .459 on-base percentage . . . three-sport athlete . . . also lettered in volleyball and soccer.
