Senior catcher who does a great job behind the plate . . . will be expected to anchor the infield . . . has a key role to fill offensively . . . will be looked upon for leadership both on and off the field.

2007 (Junior): Started in 52 of Samford's 54 games behind the plate and proved to be one of the team's defensive leaders . . . led the team with a stellar .983 fielding percentage and paced the Bulldogs with seven hit by pitches . . . finished the season 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts and was one of only two Samford players to earn a perfect 1.000 stolen base percentage . . . tallied six runs, six runs batted in and two doubles . . . led the team with 11 sacrifice bunts, 274 putouts and 10 base-runners thrown out . . . registered a pair of multiple-hit games and tallied two RBIs in the Bulldogs' 5-3 victory against Ohio Valley Conference-rival UT Martin April 6 . . . recorded a four-game hitting streak versus UAB, Mississippi State, Alabama State and Saint Louis March 4-10 . . . tallied a Samford season-high 12 putouts against Tennessee Tech May 6 . . . earned her third varsity letter.

2006 (Sophomore): Member of Samford's prestigious Dog Pound Club for her hard work in the weight room . . . saw action in 37 games and started in 28 contests for the Bulldogs . . . played primarily at the catcher position with four starts coming at designated hitter . . . finished with 11 hits, five walks, three runs scored and two doubles . . . registered a three-game hitting streak midway through the season in non-conference contests against Birmingham-Southern, Siena and Saint Louis March 4-12 . . . completed the year as one of Samford's best defensive players as she only committed two errors in 37 games . . . recorded a .986 fielding percentage, the third-highest on the team . . . batted .300 against left-handed pitchers . . . tallied a .333 success rate in advancing base runners . . . concluded the season with a two-game hitting streak against UT Martin May 6-7 . . . went 2-for-3 in the Bulldogs' 8-0 victory over Chattanooga State during the fall tournament season . . . earned her second varsity letter.

2005 (Freshman): Played in 25 games and made 21 starts, primarily at catcher . . . compiled a .158 batting average and drove in six runs . . . only committed two errors and finished with the team's second-highest fielding percentage among consistent starters (.982) . . . threw out 7-of-10 attempting base stealers to lead the team . . . batted .500 against left-handed pitchers and was .333 with the bases loaded . . . tallied a .667 average with runners on third base and less than two outs . . . turned in multiple-hit performances against Birmingham-Southern March 6 and Eastern Illinois April 2 . . . tallied a season-best 12 putouts against Tennessee Tech March 25 . . . earned her first varsity letter.
