High School: Earned First-Team All-Florida honors in both 2006 and 2007 . . . named the Female Athlete of the Year in 2006 . . . received the prestigious Hancock Award in 2007 . . . earned all-county accolades from 2004-07 and was named the Most Valuable Player in both 2006 and 2007 . . . finished the 2006 season with a miniscule 0.18 earned run average and 164 strikeouts . . . only allowed 19 hits in a total of 117 innings . . . under the tutelage of head coach Wilson Edwards at Palatka High School, she helped lead her team to back-to-back district titles and a final four appearance in the state championship tournament . . . played on the premier summer team, the Jacksonville Storm, for head coach Jerry Shepard . . . helped guide the Storm to the to the ISA winter state championship in 2004, a fourth-place finish at the AAA World Series and a fourth-place finish at the USSSA World Series . . . also lettered in cross-country at PHS and earned all-county honors from 2005-07 . . .
