Youngman is coming off of a knee injury suffered in the 2003 preseason . . . has worked hard to regain her pre-injury form, but her effectiveness this season will hinge on her continued recovery . . . could also provide depth at the forward position.

2003: Did not play because of a knee injury suffered in a preseason game against Alabama . . . was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll for her academic work.

2002: Scored a goal and had an assist in eight matches before being sidelined with an injury . . . scored the first goal of her career unassisted to beat Campbell 2-1 on Sept. 19 . . . was one of three Samford freshmen to have her first goal be a game-winner . . . assisted on goal by Lindsay Shanks against Birmingham-Southern Sept. 3 . . . took just two shots on the season . . . all three of her points came at home . . . missed 13 games because of injury.
