CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Samford's women's golf team fired a team 342 and is in third place out of seven teams at the Precept Austin Peay Intercollegiate. The men's squad is tied for fourth, having shot a 312.

Tricia Harlow leads the way for Samford, shooting a 40-42 (82), good for a tie for fourth. Kelly Villarreal is tied for 13th after shooting a 44-41 (85). Tara Clayton shot 46-41 (87) and is tied for 20th. Sara Gossum is tied for 23rd after shooting a 45-43 (88). Kelly Stout shot 44-44 (88) and is tied for 23rd.

Andy McRae leads the men, having shot a 39-37 (76), which ties him for fourth. Louis South III shot 40-38 and is tied for 21st. Bradley Farmer shot 43-36, and is tied for 25th. Seth Mobley shot 38-41 (79) and is tied for 25th. Ryan Mayberry shot 41-40 (81) and is tied for 33rd.

The final round of the fall season is Tuesday.
