HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Kelly Villareal shot an 88 to lead a struggling Samford women's golf team in round one of the Atlantic Sun Women's Golf Championship on Monday.

UCF leads the tournament after one round with a team total of 307, followed by Georgia State (315), Campbell (316), Florida Atlantic (319) and Jacksonville State (331) in the Top Five.

Tara Clayton followed Villarreal one stroke behind at 89, along with Tricia Harlow (93) and Sara Gossum (94).

Other team scores included Stetson (340), Troy State (345), Jacksonville (347), Belmont (350), Mercer (357), and Samford (364).

The championship, hosted by UCF, concludes on Tuesday.
