BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The scheduled Atlantic Sun women's basketball game between Samford University and Georgia State University has been postponed due to hazardous travel conditions.

Wednesday night's winter storm left 4.6 inches of snow in the metro-Atlanta area making travel in and out of the area dangerous. Georgia State and Samford officials decided that to postpone tonight's game was the safest thing to do. The game will be made up later in the season.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday. Samford will host Campbell at Seibert Hall and Georgia State will travel to Jacksonville State. Both games are scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
