MACON, Ga. -- Samford's men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 match to Mercer on Saturday. Raphael Bohli was victorious at No. 1 singles, but the Bulldogs dropped the doubles point and the other five singles matches to the Bears.

Samford will return to action Wednesday in a home contest against Birmingham-Southern College. The action starts at 3 p.m.

Doubles:

1. Patel/ Echiverri def. Johnson/ Jensen 8-6

2. Echiverri/ Nafevi def. Bohli/ Miletic 8-5

3. Griffee/ Bryce def. Witting/ Akhavein 9-8(7-3)

Singles:

1. Bohli def. Witting 6-3, 4-1 retired
