Samford Men's Tennis Downs Wallace State, 7-0

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford University's men's tennis team defeated Wallace State 7-0 Wednesday at the Samford tennis courts. Raphael Bohli set the tone at No. 1 singles, winning 6-2, 6-0. The rest of the Bulldogs followed suit, and only one match advanced to three sets.
Manuel Miletic continued his strong play both at No. 2 singles and as Bohli's No. 2 doubles partner, recording two wins. Andres Leal was extended to three sets, but managed to finish strong at No. 3 singles. Johnny Griffee and James Bryce, the Samford freshmen, won at No. 4 and No. 6 singles, respectively. And Travis Johnson won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.
In doubles, Johnson and Joey Jensen had a breather, 8-4, at No. 1 doubles. Miletic and Bohli won 8-5 at No. 2, and Griffee and Bryce won at love, 8-0, at No. 3.
The Bulldogs (5-11) are now off until a March 29 match at Mercer.
