2006-07: Transferred to Samford from Birmingham-Southern where he played No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Panthers . . . competed at McGill Toolen High School and was a four-time all-state selection . . . was the No. 2-ranked player in Alabama as a junior in high school.

2005-06 (Birmingham-Southern): Played in all 17 matches as a true freshman . . . teamed with Mauricio Engler to post a 5-3 doubles record and a 2-2 Big South mark at No. 1 doubles.

High School: Four-year letterman at McGill-Toolen Catholic under coach Bro. Paul Mulligan . . . four-time all-state honoree . . . also earned all-district and all-conference honors four times . . . turned in an impressive 55-6 career singles record . . . posted an undefeated 13-0 season as a freshman . . . went 14-2 as a sophomore, 15-1 as a junior and 13-3 as a senior . . . was ranked No. 2 among Alabama juniors . . . helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a state runner-up finish three times . . . led McGill-Toolen to four section titles . . . National Honor Society member.
