CHOUDRANT, La. -- Samford's men's golf team is in 8th place after two rounds at the Squire Creek Intercollegiate Fall Invitational hosted by Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs fired rounds of 309-308, for a 41-over par 617.

Junior Andy McRae led the Bulldogs with a 76-74=150, good for a tie for 12th. Freshman Ryan Mayberry shot 81-75=156 and is tied for 35th. Freshman Louis South III shot 75-82=157, and is tied for 40th. Sophomore Bradley Farmer shot 82-77=159, tied for 51st. Senior Seth Mobley shot 77-88=165, tied for 71st.

Final round action is Tuesday morning.
