SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn.- Samford men's golf shot a team score of 296-302=598 for the first two rounds of the Sonic/Chattanooga Intercollegiate Golf Classic at Signal Mountain Country Club. The Bulldogs sit in a tie for 12th place out of 14 teams, with the final round scheduled for Tuesday morning.

Jacksonville state is 12-under par to lead the tournament. Samford is 30-over par as a team on the par-71, 6,095 yard course.

Individually, the Bulldogs have had a little more good fortune.

Junior Andy McRae shot 73-70=143 and is tied for 16th. Freshman Ryan Mayberry is tied for 49th (71-80=151). Senior Seth Mobley (77-75=152) is tied for 51st. Freshman Louis South III (77-77=154) is tied for 54th. Sophomore Bradley Farmer shot a 75-81=156 and is tied for 62nd.

Final results will be posted upon the completion of Tuesday's round.
