FRANKLIN, Tenn.-- Samford's men's golf team finished 15th at the Belmont Invitational, shooting 290-307-304--901 (+49) for the tournament. Austin Peay won with an even-par 852 at the 6,846 yard Legends Club.

Louis South II (72-77-74--223) and Andy McRae (70-78-75--223) tied for 38th to lead the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs carded a 6-over par 290 Monday, and were alone in seventh place after one round. The second round of the 54-hole tournament was shortened due to darkness, and was completed prior to the third round on Tuesday.

Samford's next tournament is at the Atlantic Sun Championships, April 17-19 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
