High School: As a junior, he was an All-Cobb County selection . . . earned the Coach's Award, won the Cobb County JV Shot Put Championship and finished as runner-up in the discus . . . in 2000, he was South Cobb's Most Valuable Offensive Lineman, an All-County selection and an honorable mention All-State pick.
