Played both offense at defense at Fairfield High School . . . named Honorable Mention All-State for 5A . . . also named Super All-Metro . . . ranked fourth in the Metro area in tackles with over 150 on the season . . . was a four-year starter in the defensive secondary and served as a running back as well . . . chose Samford over Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech.
