Landers holds his school's record for career rushing yards with 4,167. As a senior, he rushed for 1,377 yards on 127 carries, averaging 10.84 yards per carry. He was named TFCA first-team All-State, All- Williamson County and team MVP in both 2003 and 2004. As a senior, he was named his team's captain.
