2005: Saw action in all 11 games . . . was third on the team with 66 tackles, including 33 solo tackles . . . had two tackles for a loss, broke up five passes, recovered one fumble and forced one fumble . . . had nine tackles, including six solo stops, and broke up one pass at Eastern Illinois . . . registered eight tackles against Southeast Missouri . . . had six tackles at Eastern Kentucky . . . contributed eight tackles against Murray State . . . had eight tackles, including seven solo stops and one tackle for a loss at Tennessee-Martin . . . had eight tackles against Tennessee State . . . registered nine tackles at Tennessee Tech . . . had six tackles, forced a fumble and ­recovered a fumble against Jacksonville State.

High School: Was a two-time All-State and All-Metro team selection . . . led his team and was third in the state in receptions . . . was a two-time recipient of the Super Senior of the Week Award . . . was a member of the 2002 state championship team, and served as a ­captain of the 2003 team that won a second straight state title.
