Men's Hoops to Face Eastern Washington at 5 p.m.
Dec. 29, 2001 Samford has never faced Eastern Washington, who is one of six first-time opponents on the Bulldogs' 2001-02 schedule. The Bulldogs are 1-3 in those games so far (W- Loyola Marymount, L-Georgia, L-Illinois State and L-Butler). Samford is 3-4 in non-conference games this season, and 1-4 in those games away from home. Butler ended the Bulldogs' three-game win streak last night, and Samford has a 5-9 record under Jimmy Tillette in in-season tournaments. The Bulldogs have won five of their last seven games and two of the last four road games.
