Senior Chris Weaver is the only Bulldog averaging in double figures, scoring 14.0 points per game. Samford has lost five of its last seven games, all on the road, tying the most consecutive road losses by a Tillette-coached team. Samford has not won three consecutive games since defeating UCF, FAU and Morehead State during the same week, Dec. 17-21. Corey Green scored 18 points against FAU on Dec. 17, along with 15 points from Cornell Felton and 13 from Eddie Harper. The Bulldogs shot 25 percent from three-point range against UCF, while the Golden Knights fired a blistering 64.7 percent, the best against Samford this season. SU is currently ranked in the Top 3 of the A-Sun in five categories, including first in scoring defense (60.0) and field goal percentage (.480). Harper has been a boost off the bench in the last two road games, averaging 10.5 points and three rebounds. Samford has shot better than 37 percent from three-point range once in the last eight games. Head Coach Jimmy Tillette is three wins away from becoming Samford's all-time leader in coaching victories. Weaver needs 47 points to become Samford's 40th player to score 1,000 points in a career. FAU: A prospect for conference coach of the year, Sidney Green is 23-62 in his third year at FAU. Brown has a double-double against Samford on Dec. 17, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Bulldogs will face the league's third-highest scoring team, as FAU averaged 76.3 points per game. The Owls have lost two of their last three games, but defeated Jacksonville State on Thursday. INSIDE STUFF: The Bulldogs have never lost six straight road games under Tillette.
