Samford trails Stetson in the all-time series 14-28, but the Bulldogs have won eight of the last nine games in the series.

Samford has won the last three meetings played in Birmingham, winning in Seibert Hall 92-57 last season. Stetson leads the series overall 9-8 in Birmingham, but Samford Head Coach Jimmy Tillette has never lost to Stetson in Birmingham, as the last time the Hatters won in the Magic City was on Feb. 20, 1995.

Each home team won last season, as the Bulldogs claimed a 64-57 victory in Birmingham. Additionally, the winning team has scored at least 73 points in six of the last seven games, and the Bulldogs have outscored the Hatters 181-124 in the last two games.

Samford ended its four-game losing streak with a 52-51 win over Jacksonville on Feb. 7.
