Box Score

TROY, Ala. (AP) - Derrick Davis and Robert Rushing each scored 20 points to lead Troy State to a 77-75 overtime win against Samford Thursday night.

Lemayn Wilson added 15 points for Troy State (16-11, 11-6 Trans America Athletic Conference). A 64-64 tie sent the game into overtime and the Trojans got the extra bucket for the win.

Derrick Jones led the scoring for Samford (14-12, 11-6 TAAC) with 21 points. Chris Weaver scored 19 and Marc Salyers added 18. Salyers had nine rebounds and Weaver had eight.

Samford shot 45 percent to the Trojans' 38 percent. The Bulldogs had 40 rebounds to the Trojans' 35.
