BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Seniors Derrick Jones and Marc Salyers combined to score 32 points in their final home game as Samford beat Florida Atlantic 86-53 Saturday.

Jones scored 17 points and Salyers 15 on "Seniors Day" at Samford.

The Bulldogs (14-11, 11-5 TAAC) dominated from the tipoff, taking a 36-19 halftime lead.

Chris Weaver added 14 points for the Bulldogs and Tyson Dorsey had 11.

Florida Atlantic (6-21, 5-11) was led by Earnest Crumbley with 17 points, while Jeff Cowans added 14 and Clay Fuller had 10.
