BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Chris Weaver scored 14 points and Jon Mills added 12 as Samford beat Stetson 57-70 on Saturday.

Cornell Felton scored 10 points and Phillip Ramelli had five assists for Samford (13-11, 10-6 Atlantic Sun Conference). The Bulldogs shot 46.2 percent to 45.5 percent for Stetson (9-14, 6-11).

Stetson led 33-27 at halftime. But Samford shot 56.3 percent in the second half and held Stetson to just 27.8 percent after the break.

Derrick DeWitt led Stetson with 18 points. Santos Hampton had seven rebounds.

Samford had 25 rebounds to Stetson's 27.
