BUIES CREEK N.C. (AP) - Sebastian Sachse and Derrick Jones combined to hit 11-of-16 3-pointers Monday as Samford defeated Campbell 76-61.

Sachse canned 8-of-10 shots, including 6-of-7 3-pointers and finished with 22 points. Jones added 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc.

Cornell Green added 12 points, while Marc Salyers had 10 for the Bulldogs (10-8, 7-2 Trans America Athletic Conference).

Campbell (4-13, 2-7 TAAC) was led by Jonte' Edwards, Adam Fellers and Jay Carter, who each scored 13 points.

Samford made 15-of-27 shots from long distance for 55.6 percent on the night and canned 60 percent of their overall field goals (30-50). Campbell shot 45.3 percent (24-53) for the game.

The Bulldogs led 37-28 at halftime and an 11-2 run early in the second half pushed the advantage to 17 points, a margin the Camels were never able to cut.
