High School: Senior team captain at Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Ala. . . . earned Shelby County All-Tournament Team honors as both a junior and a senior . . . named the Most Valuable Player of the 2005 Shades Mountain Christmas Tournament . . . averaged a team-high 13.7 points per game as a senior and shot 37.1 percent from beyond the arc . . . finished his senior campaign with 412 points and added 82 assists . . . he also led the team with 8.8 rebounds per game and 22 blocked shots . . . named a Scholar Athlete of the Week by The Birmingham News . . . earned all-area honors in 2006 . . . scored the game-winning free throws to defeat second-ranked Talladega High School as a senior . . . also lettered in football and was the team captain his freshman and senior seasons . . .
