Freshman (2007-08): Earned playing time in 29 of the team's 30 games and made nine starts as a true freshman . . . started in the Bulldogs' final eight contests of the season and averaged 8.6 points per game down the stretch . . . named the Ohio Valley Conference's Freshman of the Week Dec. 17 after he exploded for a career-high 23 points against Reinhardt Dec. 15 . . . also set a career-high with eight free throws against Reinhardt . . . turned in the best performance of his collegiate career in the opening round of the OVC Tournament as he finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds and four assists against UT Martin March 4 . . . the double-double was his first as a Bulldog . . . finished the season with an average of 4.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per contest . . . turned in the team's best free-throw percentage with a 78.8 mark (26-of-33) from the charity stripe . . . knocked down a perfect 8-of-8 free-throw attempts against Reinhardt Dec. 15 . . . expected to be one of three returning starters for Samford in 2008-09 . . . scored a game-high 17 points against Eastern Illinois March 1 . . . also tallied a career-high seven assists . . . finished with nine points, four rebounds and two assists in a 74-73 victory against Eastern Kentucky Feb. 16 . . . in the second start of his career, he earned eight points, three assists and two 3-pointers against Eastern Illinois Feb. 2 . . . finished with eight points, two assists and a pair of steals against 20th-ranked Clemson Dec. 29 . . . made the first start of his collegiate career Jan. 15 at Morehead State and finished with three points and two rebounds . . . finished the season with three double-digit scoring performances and a pair of 20-point outings . . . led the Bulldogs in scoring twice, rebounding twice and assists once . . . played a key role in Samford's OVC-leading defense which only allowed an average of 61.8 points per game . . . earned his first varsity letter.

High School: Averaged 17.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists as a senior . . . earned first-team all-region honors for the second consecutive season as voted on by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches . . . named First-Team All-South Plains as both a junior and senior . . . recognized as the 2006 South Plains Player of the Year . . . member of the 2007 Academic All-State team . . . earned a pair of first-team all-city honors as a junior and senior . . . named the 2006 City Player of the Year . . . also played wide received in football and ran the 110-meter hurdles on the track team at Monterey High School.
