Versatile athlete with a great feel for the game . . . has the ability to slash to the goal and make sounds decisions with the ball . . . will be expected to play several different positions on both sides of the ball in a greatly increased role.

Freshman (2005-06): Saw action in 27 of the Bulldogs' 31 games and averaged 9.9 minutes per contest . . . led the team in shooting percentage with a final mark of .600 (24-of-40) . . . tallied a career-high 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting versus Bryan College (Nov. 26) . . . made his Samford debut Nov. 15 against Sacramento State after sitting out the 2004-05 season with a knee injury . . . scored seven points and added a career-high five rebounds versus Morehead State (Feb. 16) . . . also finished 3-of-4 from the field and added two assists . . . tallied eight points, two rebounds and a pair of dunks against Austin Peay (Jan. 28) . . . scored seven points on 2-of-2 shooting from 3-point range in his homecoming game at Tennessee-Martin (Jan. 5) . . . earned his first varsity letter.

High School: Averaged 17 points, 6.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game as a senior at Westview High School in Martin, Tenn. . . . finished his prep career as a two-time District 13-2A Most Valuable Player . . . named Honorable Mention All-Tennessee as both a junior and a senior . . . earned both All-District and All-Region honors as a senior . . . helped guide WHS to a remarkable 42-18 overall record during his final two seasons . . . member of the WHS Academic Honor Roll.
