BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford baseball program held its annual Scout Day Tuesday evening at Joe Lee Griffin Field.

Twenty professional scouts showed up for the pro-style workout. The Samford players were timed in the 60-yard dash, and went through batting practice and fielding practice.

The day was concluded with a five-inning intra-squad scrimmage in which each Samford pitcher tossed one inning.
