YOUTH BASEBALL CAMPS

There will be five separate youth baseball camps this summer for rising Kindergarten through seventh grade students. These camps will focus on the fundamentals and cover all aspects of the game including hitting, fielding, throwing, running bases, and game simulations each day. Campers will receive a t-shirt the final day of the camp and a $5 credit towards the Snack Bank to go for snacks and drinks during breaks for the week. Campers will check in for camp the first day at 8:30 at the baseball stadium.

HIGH SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT CAMP

Times:Day 1 - 2:30 to 9:00, Day 2 - 9:00 to 9:00, Day 3 - 9:00 to 12:00
Cost:$295.00 (meal ticket $30.00)

The high school Spotlight Camp is designed for players to receive instruction and showcase their talent for college coaches throughout the state. The camp will include detailed individual instruction along with scrimmage games. In addition to the Samford coaching staff, there will be additional division I coaches. The staff will include coaches from SEC schools. Specific schools to be announced.

This camp is for incoming 8th graders through 2008 graduates. The cost of the camp is $295.00. There is a limited number of spots per position available. Meal tickets can be purchased for $30.00 to cover all meals during the running of the camp. Overnight accommodations for those that need them will be made on an individual basis. A special rate has been arranged at the ECONO Lodge at 205-941-0990. Camp check in will start at the stadium at 2:00 on July 21.
