Carl E. Miller, Jr. Press Box Dedicated Prior To Saturday Doubleheader

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Prior to the start of Saturday's baseball doubleheader between Samford and Morehead State, Samford held dedication ceremonies for the new Carl E. Miller, Jr. Press Box. Samford president Dr. Andrew Westmoreland, director of athletics Bob Roller and head coach Casey Dunn presented Miller's family with a plaque honoring Miller that will be displayed in the press box. A new banner that is displayed at the base of the press box was also unveiled.
In addition to dedication ceremonies, Miller's grandson, Carl E. Miller IV (Bud), threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.
