BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford's baseball game scheduled for Tuesday night at cross-town rival Birmingham-Southern has been cancelled due to rain in the area. The Bulldogs and Panthers were supposed to make up a game originally scheduled for Mar. 20, but rain once again kept the two teams from meeting.

The game will not be made up.

Samford defeated BSC back one Mar. 19, 3-2 at Joe Lee Griffin Field. Robert Evans, Sae Evans and Eli Iorg each had three hits in the win for the Bulldogs.

Samford (23-23, 10-14 ASUN) will travel to Lake Charles, La. this weekend for a nonconference series with McNeese St. Friday and Saturday night's games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
