Samford heads to Alabama A&M for a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. in Normal, Ala. The series was rescheduled after the Mar. 5 rainout in Birmingham, Ala. Gametracker will not be available for Tuesday's games.

The Bulldogs (5-22) look to snap a 10-game losing streak. Florida Atlantic swept three games from the Bulldogs last weekend, 25-9, 5-4 and 6-2. Matt Alling went 5-for-12 with four runs scored for Samford. Senior outfield Sae Evans finished the series with four hits including two home runs.

Alabama A&M (7-23) dropped three out of four games to Mississippi Valley State over the weekend. After A&M won game one, 6-4, MVSU won 5-2, 7-1 and 11-2. Michael May leads Alabama A&M hitting .326 with 14 RBI on 28 hits. As a team, the Bulldogs are hitting .246 with a team ERA of 6.28.

Junior right-hander Karl Huch (1-0, 11.57 ERA) will start the first game of the doubleheader for Samford.

Samford is 8-1 under Tim Parenton against Alabama A&M with Bulldogs sweeping last season's series, 10-0, in Normal and, 18-1, in Birmingham.

The Bulldogs return home this weekend when they host Atlantic Sun foe Troy State for a three-game series. Friday's game is set for 6 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m.
