BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford's game against UT-Martin scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled due to rain. The teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday beginning at 3 p.m., weather permitting, at Joe Lee Griffin Field.

Samford leads the series 5-1 under head coach Tim Parenton. The Bulldogs won both meetings last season in Martin, Tenn., 6-5 and 6-4 behind four home runs by Sae Evans in the two games.

After Wednesday's meeting, the Bulldogs will get ready to host No. 25 Stetson in a key Atlantic Sun Conference Series at Joe Lee Griffin Field this weekend. Friday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m.
