Friday's baseball game between Jacksonville and Samford has been cancelled due to rain in the area. The Bulldogs and Dolphins will try to start the series Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. with Sunday's game set for 1 p.m.

Friday's game was supposed to be the opening game in Atlantic Sun Conference play and the first conference game in NCAA Division I this season, but the action has been pushed back one day.

Saturday's doubleheader, which was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CST has been moved to 3 p.m. Saturday, while the final game will be played on Sunday at 1 p.m. CST. If the doubleheader is unable to be played on Saturday, the two teams will play the doubleheader on Sunday.
