2003 (Junior): Played in 40 games, starting 38 contests . . . drove in 10 runs on the season . . . had 23 hits for a .197 batting average . . . scored 16 runs and had six doubles . . . went 2-for-3 against Alabama A&M . . . 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in game one of double-header against Troy State . . . went 2-for-3 in game one of Gardner-Webb series . . . 2-for-3 in final game of series against Stetson . . . 2-for-3 in second game of double-header against McNeese State.

2002 (Sophomore): Made the transition over to third base and had 151 putout and assists in 165 chances for a .915 fielding percentage . . . hit .314 on the season with four home runs, 21 runs scored, 19 RBI and 49 hits . . . went 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs scored against Alabama A&M . . . went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI against Mississippi Valley State Feb. 17 . . . recorded 11 multiple-hit games . . . homered against VMI, Auburn, Mississippi Valley State and Belmont . . . started 47-of-51 games at either third base, second base or shortstop.

2001 (Freshman): Batted .287 with three doubles, two home runs and 24 RBI . . . posted a .910 fielding percentage at shortstop, recording 182 putouts or assists in 200 chances with 18 errors . . . started 52 of 52 games as a true freshman at shortstop . . . first collegiate hits came in the third game of a three-game series against Southeastern Louisiana in which he went 3-for-4, including one RBI and one run scored . . . went 2-for-3 with three RBI against UCF April 7 . . . went 3-for-5 against Georgia State May 4 . . . fourth on the team in hits (47) and RBI (24) . . . led the team in sacrifice bunts and sacrifice flies . . . picked up first career win on the mound in 9-3 win over Alabama A&M March 27 . . . pitched only two total innings in three games, recording five strikeouts.

High School: An Academic All-State selection . . . earned Super All-State and Merrill Lynch Player of the Year honors as a senior . . . was the Thompson Reynolds Scholar Athlete in football and also the Scott Mitchell Waggoner Memorial Captain in football . . . was named Co-Player of the Year by the Birmingham News, along with Metro Player of the Week honors and membership to the Super All-Metro team . . . posted a 1.83 ERA, a 9-2 record, 23 RBI and hit for an average of .333 . . . was a member of an outstanding athletics program at Vestavia HS, winning a 6-A State Championship in football in 1998, and in baseball in 1999 and 2000 for Coach Sammy Dunn.
