Returning starter at second base for the fourth season . . . athletically, one of the most talented players on the roster . . . can move anywhere on the field and be an asset.

2003 (Junior): Started 48 of Samford's 51 games . . . batted .279, good for fifth on the team . . . hit three home runs with 17 RBI . . . scored 27 runs on the season for the Bulldogs . . . went 2-for-3 in the season-opener against VMI . . . had two hits in first game of series at Nicholls State . . . hit a three-run home run in A-Sun-opener against Jacksonville . . . 2-for-4 with an RBI against Auburn . . . went 2-for-2 in second game of doubleheader at Belmont . . . 3-for-3 with an RBI in second game of Gardner-Webb series, and 2-for-3 in third game of Gardner-Webb series . . . 2-for-3 in final game of Jacksonville State series . . . went 2-for-4 in game at Birmingham-Southern . . . 2-for-3 in first game of Stetson series . . . went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in third game at Georgia State.

2002 (Sophomore): Starter up the middle who was on fire for the Bulldogs down the stretch . . . hit .368 in A-Sun games with 25 hits and 10 RBI . . . started 44 of 49 games for the Bulldogs . . . finished the season hitting .319 with 21 RBI and 23 runs scored on 46 hits . . . went 3-for-3 with four runs scored and two RBI, including first career home run against UT-Martin. . . went 3-for-4 with one RBI against Belmont May 18 . . . recorded 13 multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI games . . . knocked in a career-high three RBI against Campbell May 10.

2001 (Freshman): Started 36 of 42 games at second base as a true freshman . . . hit .231, including 25 hits, 16 runs scored and 21 RBI . . . first collegiate hit came against Southeastern Louisiana Feb. 10 . . . had four multiple-hit games . . . was 3-for-3 on stolen bases . . . had a .939 fielding percentage at second base.

High School: Earned MVP honors on the Homewood HS football and baseball teams as a senior . . . won the Grant Redding Award (highest batting average on team) as a junior for Coach Bobby Statum . . . an All-Over the Mountain Team selection in baseball and football as a senior . . . won All-State Honorable Mention honors in baseball as a junior and senior . . . also earned All-State Honorable Mention honors in football as a senior . . . hit .442 with two home runs as a senior and .480 with three home runs, 14 doubles, six triples and 47 hits as a junior . . . was a member of the Homewood area championship teams in football (1998) and baseball (1999 and 2000).
